WhatsApp Messaging Policy
Version 1.0
WeOne WhatsApp Messaging Policy
Version 1.0
This policy applies to all messaging sent through the WeOne platform. It exists to keep your WhatsApp numbers healthy, protect message recipients, and comply with the requirements of Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. It applies in addition to, not instead of, Meta's own WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, which you must also follow.
1. Consent (opt-in) is mandatory
a. You may only message people who have given you clear, verifiable consent to be contacted by your business on WhatsApp (for example through a website form, in-store sign-up, or an existing customer relationship where they shared their number for this purpose).
b. You must keep a record of how and when each contact opted in.
c. You must honour opt-outs immediately. If a recipient replies asking you to stop (for example "STOP" or "unsubscribe"), you must not message them again except to confirm the opt-out.
2. Template messages
a. Business-initiated conversations must use message templates approved by Meta.
b. Templates must be used for the purpose and category they were approved for. Do not use utility templates for marketing content.
c. Do not attempt to evade template review through misleading variable content.
3. Prohibited content and uses
You must not use the Service to send:
a. spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or messages to purchased/rented contact lists;
b. illegal products or services, or content that is fraudulent, deceptive or misleading;
c. content prohibited by Meta's Commerce and Business policies (including but not limited to: drugs, weapons, tobacco, adult content, gambling where not licensed, loans with predatory terms);
d. threatening, harassing, hateful or discriminatory content;
e. content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
f. malware, phishing links or attempts to obtain credentials or sensitive financial information deceptively.
4. Quality and messaging limits
a. Meta assigns quality ratings and per-day messaging limits to your phone numbers based on recipient feedback (blocks and reports).
b. High block/report rates can reduce your limits or get your number restricted or banned by Meta. These consequences are applied by Meta, not WeOne, and WeOne cannot reverse them.
c. We recommend warming up new numbers gradually, sending relevant content only, and monitoring the quality indicators shown in your WeOne dashboard.
5. Your responsibilities
a. You are the sender of record for all messages sent from your numbers through WeOne and are responsible for their content and legality.
b. You must comply with laws applicable to your business and your recipients, including consumer protection and data protection laws.
c. You must ensure your team members using WeOne follow this policy.
6. Enforcement
a. We may issue warnings, pause campaigns, or suspend messaging features or accounts that violate this policy, with notice where practicable.
b. Serious or repeated violations may lead to termination under the WeOne Terms and Conditions.
c. Nothing in this policy limits actions Meta may independently take on your WhatsApp Business Account.
7. Reporting
To report abuse of the WeOne platform, or if you believe messages sent through WeOne violate this policy, contact support@weone.infotech.net.in.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in Meta's policies. Material changes will be notified through the Service.
